Product Introduction
Sodium hydroxide, with the chemical formula NaOH, commonly known as caustic soda, caustic soda, or caustic soda, is a highly corrosive strong alkali that is generally in the form of flakes or blocks. It is easily soluble in water (releases heat when dissolved in water) and forms an alkaline solution. It also has deliquescence and can easily absorb water vapor (deliquescence) and carbon dioxide (deterioration) from the air. It can be tested for deterioration by adding hydrochloric acid.
Product Features
The characteristic of flake alkali is a white semi transparent flake solid. Industrial grade flake alkali is allowed to have a slight color according to the national standard (GB209-2006), which is the color presented by impurities in flake alkali.
Product Usage
Used for strongly alkaline washing products, such as laundry detergent.
Packaging and Storage
It should be placed indoors in a cool and dry place, avoiding direct sunlight and rain.
